Our valued client is in the Social Impact business and growing really fast. They built a large-scale social change platform to make a social impact on global communities. They enable anyone to launch a campaign and immediately mobilize hundreds or hundreds of thousands of people worldwide to increase the responsiveness and responsibility of governments and businesses. We are looking for a Fullstack Engineering Manager who can build scalable systems, foster a craftsmanship culture, and has a passion for expanding the platform so that hundreds of millions of people can access it.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage the engineering team.
  • Deliver impactful products.
  • Build user facing features at scale.
  • Improve the team’s productivity and project quality.

Skills and Requirements

Must have skills

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience as a software engineer
  • Minimum 2+ years of managing team and coaching, hiring engineers experience. 
  • Proficient with Node.js, Ruby/Rails and AWS
  • Have experience in leading a team with architect experience at scale for web development.
  • Able to, and have experience in hiring and coaching the engineers to form a team.
  • Able to create team’s weekly goals, roadmap, mitigating risks and considering tradeoffs
  • Have experience with Web development experience at scale

Nice have skills

  • Have experience with Elixir.
  • Passionate about the team building process.
