ROLE:

Our valued client is in the technology consulting business specializing in High-Tech, Manufacturing and Healthcare industries. They are mainly focusing on Lead-to-Revenue, so they bring clients both depth of expertise and breadth of experience to their clients. They have had over 200+ engagements with global enterprises in the last 5 years alone and want to expand their market in Canada. They are looking for a JavaScript & React Developer who will leverage data, caching and search solutions such as MongoDB, MySQL, Kafka, Redis, Memcached, Elasticsearch, Solr to build performant, data-rich solutions.

​Responsibilities

  • Secure access to solutions leveraging standards such as OAuth2 and OpenID Connect 
  • Debugging, testing and optimizing the integration of the final product 
  • Focus on software quality and put a high priority on maintaining high standards in delivered code 
  • Participate in code and document reviews 
  • Participate in knowledge transfer to other members of the team

Skills and Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in front-end web development 
  • Strong React skills including JavaScript, Typescript and CSS 
  • Extensive experience working with Node.js - Express.js 
  • Proven teamwork capabilities 
  • Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills 
  • Must be a problem solver who gets excited about challenging engineering puzzles 
  • Astute and passionate about engineering digital solutions that solve real business problems
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science or related program 
  • Experience working with GraphQL and Angular 
  • Knowledge of technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Linux, Azure and AWS services
